City of London walk.

On Thursday I found myself at Liverpool Street with a few hours until my train, so I took a walk to Whitechapel to visit Wex to look for some gear, and the Whitechapel Gallery. All monochrome, because I’m still figuring out the colours of my new cameras and haven’t quite settled on them yet.

It was a good chance to get used to my new kit. It’s a lot smaller, lighter and quieter than my old gear, and very handy for this kind of walkabout. The City on a sunny day at lunchtime is chaotic and brilliant, a wild mix of very old and absolutely brand new.

Things change almost immediately in many ways outside the borders of the City of London. Equally chaotic mind you.
